If your Trone toilet is not powering on, try the following troubleshooting steps before contacting customer support. In many cases, a quick reset or outlet check can solve the problem.
Step 1: Reset the Toilet
- Unplug the toilet from the power outlet.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Plug the toilet back in.
Step 2: Reset the GFCI Outlet (If Applicable)
Most Trone models have a power cord with a built-in GFCI outlet.
- Locate the GFCI reset button on the cord.
- Press the reset button firmly.
Step 3: Check the Power Cord
- Inspect the cord for any visible damage, frays, or loose connections.
Step 4: Test the Outlet and Bidet
- Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm it’s working.
- Alternatively, plug your bidet into a different outlet to see if it powers on.
Step 5: If the Toilet Still Won’t Power On
If none of the above steps work, the power cord and/or main board may need to be replaced.
