E7: Error Code

The E7 error code means that your emergency battery backup is low, out of battery, or disconnected.

Possible Cause

The problem may be due to the wire not being properly connected or because the battery has run out of power and needs replacing.

If you get this Error Code on your toilet display screen, please try the following:

Pull the top of the toilet off the base to access the backup battery setup.
Check if the backup battery cord is plugged in properly and working. If it is plugged in and still not working, you must replace the battery inside. Open up the backup battery cover to remove the old battery. Then, install a new battery, put the cover back on, plug it back into the cord, and tighten the connection.
When this happens, reach out to customer service for assistance. You can submit a form if the device is still under the manufacturer's warranty. Remember to provide your order number, the device serial number, and a video of the problem when submitting the claim.
