Cleaning The Mesh (Angle Valve) Filter

The mesh filter is essential in ensuring your toilet functions properly. It protects fittings against the dust and lime deposits in the water that may damage your toilet.

Cleaning the mesh filter is important to keep the water flow smooth and efficient. Here's how you can keep your toilet's mesh filter clean:

• First, turn off the water by closing the angle valve. (insert picture)
• Unscrew the back of the angle valve, which you can do with a coin or flathead screwdriver. Insert it into the slot on the back of the angle valve and loosen it.
• Once unscrewed, take out and clean the filter with running water, scraping off any debris.
• Once cleaned, screw the filter back into the angle valve.
• Turn on the water slowly to check for any leaks.

Repeat this cleaning process every six months or when you notice a decrease in water flow.
